Senior Systems Engineer - Infrastructure & Monitoring

Salary: CHF 85’000 - 105’000 per year

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in system engineering, with confirmed mastery of Windows Server, AD/GPO, VMware vSphere, and high autonomy on SCOM.
• Excellent PowerShell scripting skills (deployment, appreciated: Checkmk, Splunk, SquaredUp, Ansible/AWX, Control-M, Terraform, Management, IaaS Azure).
• Proven ability to manage complex incidents, analyze and synthesize information, and operate within a procedural environment in the public sector.
• Structured, methodical, and reliable personality, with a strong openness to change and an ability to challenge the status quo.
• French C2; desired English B1-B2; appreciated German B1.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the management and evolution of Windows / VMware infrastructures, with a focus on environments and incident resolution.
• Manage SCOM: complete lifecycle, new probes, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain scripts via PowerShell, Ansible AWX, and Control-M, closely aligning standards with Server teams, IT-OPS, Managers, and the monitoring teams (Checkmk, Splunk, SquaredUp).
• Document procedures, work instructions, and runbooks in Confluence, and ensure knowledge transfer to lower support levels.
