AI Architect

Salary: CHF 100’000 - 120’000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in AI, data science, or educational technology (a plus).
• 2 years of experience in AI/ML solution design and implementation, preferably in education or service industries.
• Experience with solution architecture and business case development in academic or nonprofit settings.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with data integration and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience working with educational technology systems like LMS (Learning Management Systems) and SIS (Student Information Systems).
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance frameworks, including GDPR.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both academic and administrative stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on educational impact.
• Creative problem-solver who brings innovation to work and demonstrates ethical judgment and integrity in the use of AI.
• Leadership experience in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English (C1); French (C1) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead AI initiatives across education and operations (personalized services, admissions optimization, alumni engagement), ensuring alignment with institutional strategy and responsible AI principles.
• Collaborate with IT, data governance, and academic leadership to design scalable AI architectures, ensure infrastructure readiness, and implement ethical data usage frameworks.
• Evaluate, select, and operationalize AI models (recommendation systems, predictive analytics), using real-world data to build robust training, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Drive AI adoption through structured change management, including user readiness, integration into existing systems, and stakeholder engagement.
• Define and monitor performance metrics (user satisfaction, efficiency gains, model fairness), ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR), and lead continuous improvement cycles.
