DevOps Engineer Consultant - Linux

Salary: CHF 100’000 - 135’000 per year

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and operating secure, automated private cloud environments.
• Specialization in Linux and relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, SUSE CCA).
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat (v7+) and/or SUSE (v12+), including tools like Satellite or SUSE Manager.
• Proficiency in automation using Ansible and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python); confident working with REST APIs.
• Fluent German communication skills (written and spoken) are required for client collaboration and project success.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, highly available private cloud architectures using Red Hat and SUSE technologies.
• Automate provisioning and management of physical and virtual systems using Ansible and scripting.
• Build and maintain system landscapes, including lifecycle management with Satellite or SUSE Manager.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure components with networking, package management, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the client to ensure alignment with security, availability, and automation standards.
