Automation Engineer
Salary: CHF 80’000 - 105’000 per year
Requirements:
- Equivalent experience in Electrical or System Engineering or a related field, including University Degree or equivalent experience, or vocational education (EFZ, FH, HF, BSc.)
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical plants or the biotech industry
- Proficiency in SAP, COMOS (Plant Engineering Software), DeltaV (Process Control System), and MES Syncade (Manufacturing Execution System) is highly desirable
- Proficient in English and/or German to competently communicate in our diverse, collaborative environment
- Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols to ensure compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting
- A self-reliant, trustworthy, and effective working approach that ensures successful completion of tasks and projects
Responsibilities:
- Planning and realization of electrical MSR readiness (maintenance, changeovers, improvements) within the available budget and timelines
- Ensuring seamless operation and flawless performance of high-automated Biologics facilities equipped with DeltaV and MES systems
- Managing GMP-compliant activities, including testing, documentation, and change management using systems such as Kneat and Ubik
- Preparing and updating plant documentation in SAP/COMOS to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards
- Determining and implementing continuous improvements in equipment and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine internal procedures and achieve optimized workflows
