AI Engineer - (Deutschsprachig)

Salary: CHF 120'000 - 130'000 per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python backend development
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications in production environments
• Practical experience with RAG systems (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agent-based multi-step AI workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms including at least one production deployment; solid REST API design skills
• At least B2-level German skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement RAG pipelines with semantic search, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration
• Integrate multiple LLM providers (e.g. Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) and develop prompt engineering strategies
• Build REST APIs and contribute to multi-tenant SaaS architecture design and deployment decisions
• Implement monitoring, observability, and security/compliance requirements for AI components in a regulated industry
