Protocol Risk Engineer

Salary: CHF 130’000 - 150’000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong quantitative skills: Python, SQL, Excel
• Hands-on experience with DeFi protocols (lending, perpetuals, stablecoins)
• Exposure to EVM chains or Solana
• Working knowledge of risk frameworks and risk metrics
• Regular use of AI tools to augment analysis and workflows

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for DeFi lending markets and RWAs
• Build and operate capital, liquidity, and exposure models
• Convert qualitative and operational risks into quantitative parameters
• Run stress tests, scenario analyses, and ongoing risk monitoring
• Design dashboards and reporting for real-time risk visibility
• Collaborate with engineers, risk stakeholders, and governance teams to operationalize frameworks

Our client is building the data and analytics layer behind a crypto-native risk framework spanning DeFi lending markets and real-world assets. This role focuses on translating risk frameworks into data pipelines, models, and monitoring systems that operate in production and inform real capital decisions.

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable working close to data, models, and live systems in a fast-evolving environment.
