Rust Engineer - Web3 (remote)

Salary: CHF 100’000 - 130’000 per year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Rust.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with databases (SQL/PostgreSQL) and version control (Git).
• Background in blockchain, cryptography, or distributed systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of C++ or Go is a plus.
• Familiarity with Rust frameworks such as Actix, Jsonrpsee, Alloy, or Sqlx is advantageous.
• Experience with modern workflows (CI/CD, automated testing, peer code reviews).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services and core components in Rust.
• Write efficient, safe, and maintainable code using modern development practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical solutions.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Take part in code reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
