Senior Mechanical engineer (precision design, liquid cooling)

Salary: CHF 100’000 - 120’000 per year

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 5+ years in high-precision mechanical design
• Expert SolidWorks CAD skills
• Strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up experience
• Solid background in DFM/DFA
• Fluent English communication
• Bonus: experience with liquid-cooling, microfluidics, brazing, or advanced bonding

Responsibilities:

• We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead precision mechanical design for high-density, liquid-cooled hardware. This role involves taking products from concept to production, with a strong focus on mechanical integrity, manufacturability, and robust engineering principles. In this role, you will:
• Design high-precision mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and cold plates
• Perform GD&T and advanced tolerance analysis
• Produce production-ready CAD (SolidWorks) and technical drawings
• Oversee prototyping and manufacturing with strong DFM/DFA principles
• Develop and execute mechanical and reliability validation tests
• Analyze test data to improve robustness and yield
• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D teams
