Technical Lead – Backend Infrastructure (Web3)

Salary: CHF 120’000 - 130’000 per year

• Break down product requirements into executable engineering plans.
• Hands-On Contribution
• Spend a meaningful portion of time writing and reviewing code (30–40% expected).
• Troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize backend systems for performance and reliability.
• Participate in incident response and lead post-incident reviews to strengthen system resilience.

Responsibilities:

• 6+ years of backend or systems engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed backend systems, ideally in blockchain or related environments.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms, or other blockchain technologies is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
