Salary: CHF 60’000 - 75’000 per year

Requirements:

• BA/MS degree in Computer Science or related fields. Experience in software development using some of the most used programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++. Proactivity and aptitude for knowledge-sharing in a multi-disciplinary team. Appreciated: web-services, Database management, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Zustand, Computational Geometry, 3D Graphics, CAD, Cloud-computing, AWS Services, React, SaaS platforms, Three.js, GUI Development, Rust.

Responsibilities:

• The current goal of our team is to bring the existing technology from a prototype to a robust production-ready product. In this context you will develop, update, adapt, optimize, test, and validate a set of features of our software product. Tasks will concern processes related to data gathering, physical simulations, 3D visualization, and user interaction. You should be able to understand and analyze the product requirements and translate them into quickly implementable solutions. This will comprise data structuring, software architecture design, coding, debugging, and testing. We are currently recruiting different profiles related to the following domains:

PROJECT UrbanMetrix is a disruptive 3D site-analysis and conceptual-design tool for architects, engineers and developers. This tool revolutionizes the way we create buildings in cities by literally inverting the design-process and allowing it to start from environmental resources. Sun, views, noise, and wind are thus turned into crucial resources of the design process allowing it to address with new means one the biggest challenges of our time: the design of healthy and sustainable cities.

CONTEXT We offer the typical unstructured and constantly changing environment of a small and young multidisciplinary startup and the possibility to participate in a stimulating project. You will be working on several tasks in close contact with architects, engineers, and software developers. Our office is in Comano, near Lugano, and your work will start in the second half of 2025.
