Food Industry Application Engineer (FR/EN)
Salary: CHF 90’000 - 120’000 per year
Requirements:
- Higher education in food science or technology
- Confirmed experience (approx. 3 to 5 years) in food product development
- Strong interest in processes and products
- Knowledge in extrusion is an asset
- Comfortable with ingredients, processes and nutrition concepts
- Fluent English is required, French is a real advantage
- Autonomy, curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset
- Enjoyment of hands-on work, trials, and the field
- Team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with agility
Responsibilities:
- The development and scaling of food processes at the pilot level
- Conducting trials on different types of savory products
- Developing recipes related to market trends
- Close collaboration with R&D, technical and commercial teams
- Technical support during client projects, trials and implementations
- Establishing experimental protocols adapted to industrial constraints
- Active monitoring of technological advancements and food processes
