Software R&D Engineer (C++, Qt, Computer Vision)

Salary: CHF 90'000 - 130'000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong C++.
• Cross-platform C++ build and debugging experience (Linux/Ubuntu and Windows).
• Computer-vision knowledge in a medical context.
• Solid fundamentals: debugging, version control, clean code, performance mindset.
• MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or similar (recent graduates welcome).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core medical, clinical and simulation applications — new features, stability and performance.
• Develop and maintain the clinical software library.
• Build and refine our Qt-based GUI in C++ (or an equivalent framework).
• Keep the application running reliably across Linux/Ubuntu and Windows, managing platform-specific dependencies, configs and builds.
• Optimize GPU/NPU and video-pipeline performance and reliability for AI features.

Note on eligibility: This is an on-site role in the Zurich area; candidates already based in Switzerland (or eligible to work in Switzerland) are preferred. Not full-remote.
