ICT Architect (m/f/d)

Salary: CHF 85'000 - 105'000 per year

Requirements:

• University Masters degree in computer science or EPF/HES engineering diploma, or equivalent; continuing education such as CAS is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in cross-functional architecture or application architecture in complex environments, including bespoke development and multi-team settings.
• Proficiency in 3-tier architectures, SOA, API Management, microservices, OpenShift, and practices such as DDD, Clean Architecture, and hexagonal architecture.
• Strong command of authentication and authorisation protocols and mechanisms such as OAuth2/OIDC, SAMLv2, and Kerberos, as well as application security issues.
• Strong sensitivity to software quality and user experience.
• Ability to structure cross-functional governance across departments, standards, and documentation.
• Ability to manage risks and mitigation plans.
• Leadership, rigorous writing skills, initiative, and ease in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the vision of a 3-tier, modular, and scalable application architecture adapted to bespoke and multi-scope developments.
• Define and frame service-oriented architectures and microservices, including containerisation with OpenShift and approaches such as DDD, Clean Architecture, and the hexagonal model.
• Design and govern APIs and interoperability standards, integrating API Management solutions and exchange protocols such as REST and SOAP, with messaging as needed.
• Ensure security and authentication and authorisation mechanisms, as well as requirements for performance, high availability, scalability, and application security.
• Support project teams and departments through facilitation, documentation, industrialisation of best practices, and maintenance of a cross-functional repository.
• Contribute to analyses, estimations, and investigation support.
• Integrate resilience, observability, and distributed monitoring into the architecture.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with multiple stakeholders.
