Frontend Developer - Bern

Salary: CHF 80'000 - 110'000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience developing modern frontend web applications using React and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of React, including component-based architecture, hooks, state management, and reusable UI components
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and modern JavaScript/TypeScript language features
• Experience with modern frontend development tools and package managers, such as pnpm, Yarn, Vite, and Vite+
• Familiarity with RESTful web services
• Working experience with version control systems, especially Git
• Ability to work efficiently in an international team environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Additional languages are an asset
• The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, as well as holders of a valid Swiss work permit

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications for Data Management Services (Big Data) products
• Take ownership of the full application development lifecycle, including user requirements, specifications, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance
• Build high-quality, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a friendly, open, and agile Scrum environment
