Software Engineer - Android (all genders)

Salary: CHF 75'000 - ? per year

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Deep knowledge of Android fundamentals and best practices
• Experience with Android architecture components
• Comfortable using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flows
• Experience with RxJava is a plus
• Solid understanding of testing practices and commitment to quality
• Experience with Node.js or Scala is beneficial
• Having published apps on the Play Store is highly regarded
• Passion for learning and self-organization; readiness to enhance skills and take on new challenges
• Courage to experiment with new technologies (including AI)
• Customer-centric approach: prioritize quality, security, speed, and performance

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to maintain and evolve the HolidayCheck Android app
• Engage in robust development practices including pair programming, code reviews, and continuous delivery to thousands of users
• Innovate and implement new features in close collaboration with iOS and Android developers, Product Designers, and Product Managers
• Contribute to the technical community through blogs or tech talks
