AI Engineer Intern – Enterprise Java Frameworks

Salary: CHF 55'000 - 75'000 per year

Requirements:

• Masters student in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Good Java development skills
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and cloud-native technologies
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Quarkus or modern application frameworks
• Curious mindset and willingness to experiment
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and prototype AI capabilities for enterprise application frameworks used across our bank
• Research emerging AI technologies and enterprise use cases
• Explore AI integration patterns for Spring Boot and Quarkus applications
• Evaluate Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-based architectures
• Build proof-of-concepts demonstrating AI-enhanced application capabilities
• Collaborate with software architects and engineering teams
• Document findings and propose recommendations for future adoption
