Internship - Software Engineer - Platform Modernization
Salary: CHF 55'000 - 75'000 per year
Requirements:
- Masters student in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Knowledge of Angular or modern frontend frameworks
- Interest in full-stack development and user experience
- Understanding of Java-based applications is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
Responsibilities:
- Modernize an existing administration platform by migrating it from AngularJS to Angular and from WildFly to Quarkus, while extending its functionality to provide greater autonomy to operational teams
- Analyze the current application architecture and existing business workflows
- Migrate frontend components from AngularJS to Angular
- Migrate backend components from WildFly to Quarkus
- Develop backend integrations and APIs where required
- Design and implement new administration and parameterization features based on access rights
- Implement a context-based split per application source
- Improve usability and user experience for operational teams
- Ensure application quality through automated testing and code reviews
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Operations teams, and Business Analysts
