IT Security Engineer - Geneva

Salary: CHF 110'000 - 150'000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer engineering, security engineering, or a relevant field.
• Masters degree from an engineering school is a plus.
• Sound experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and best practices.
• Strong interest in IT security, continuous learning, secure engineering practices, and threat modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 services, and hybrid cloud services.
• Excellent command of automation, scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, and common software architecture patterns.
• Proficient in networking protocols and technologies.
• Highly analytical and rigorous, with a solution-oriented mindset and strong autonomy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly versatile and able to adapt to diverse technical contexts.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions.
• Conduct and/or contribute to security projects.
• Assess and improve the security hardening of enterprise solutions.
• Participate in alert and incident response reviews and propose improvement actions.
• Propose new security solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop security workflows and automate recurring tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, incident reports, and security requirements.
• Contribute to enforcing robust security tools and secure coding practices in development.
• Educate staff on best practices related to IT security.
