SAP FI Application Expert - Geneva
Salary: CHF 110'000 - 150'000 per year
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP FI (80%) / CO (20%) experience in a complex, regulated environment (functional and technical expertise)
- Proven track record in both support/run activities and project mode
- Good command of SAP BW reporting, BPC planning and consolidation, and SAP Concur configuration and integration with SAP FI
- Knowledge or experience on S/4HANA architecture and migration concepts will be appreciated
- Solid understanding of financial accounting processes: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset management, bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with private banking operational flows (client accounting, fees, treasury, regulatory reporting) is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex functional requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills, able to present to both technical and business audiences
- Rigorous, autonomous and structured; comfortable managing several tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Collaborative team player with a service-oriented attitude
- Full proficiency in French and English
- Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operational continuity through second- and third-level support
- Steer the evolution of the platform in close collaboration with the SAP product owner and Finance stakeholders
- Contribute to cross-functional project delivery
- Participate in our technological transition toward next-generation solutions (S/4HANA)
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Controlling teams
- Design functional solutions and write specifications
- Contribute to BPC planning model evolution and BW/4, SAP Analytics Cloud reporting developments
- Actively contribute to S/4HANA conversion projects and new onboarding projects
- Manage end-to-end delivery of change requests and projects, including scoping, testing, training, and go-live
- Configure SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting) and CO modules
- Ensure all changes comply with internal change management and audit frameworks
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional and technical support for SAP FI/CO, BW/4 Hana, SAC, BPC and Concur
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs; escalate to SAP when required
- Monitor batch jobs, interfaces and data flows; ensure system health and data integrity
- Manage transports, patches and corrections across the landscape
- Maintain functional and technical documentation up to date after every change
