Software Engineer Intern – Cash Management Tool Redevelopment

Salary: CHF 55'000 - 75'000 per year

Requirements:

• We require you to be a Masters student in Computer Science.
• We are looking for curiosity about financial markets, portfolio management and wealth management processes.
• You should have good knowledge of Java and modern backend development practices.
• We welcome an interest in or hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus and MongoDB.
• You should know modern front-end technologies, particularly Angular and Micro-Frontend architecture.
• We value strong communication and collaboration skills, a team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
• You must reside in Switzerland or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

• We will involve you in redesigning and redeveloping our strategic Cash Management application.
• We will ask you to analyse how portfolio positions contribute to immediate and medium-term cash exposure.
• You will help us design algorithms that determine portfolio cash positions based on underlying assets and transactions.
• You will develop intuitive visualisations and drill-down capabilities for analysing cash exposure across portfolios, asset classes, currencies and regions.
• You will build frontend and backend features using Angular and Java backend services.
• You will collaborate with our product managers, bankers and portfolio specialists to translate business requirements into product capabilities.
• You will participate in integrating the solution into our Portfolio Management ecosystem and GX Wealth Management platform.
• You will use modern AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to accelerate software delivery and prototyping.
