SAP FICO Functional Engineer

Salary: CHF 80'000 - 115'000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• We require several years of experience working with FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules in SAP ERP.
• Experience with implementation, upgrade, or support projects in SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
• We require a solid understanding of financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and cost controlling.
• We value experience in SAP support and optimization of financial modules.
• We expect the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, and PP is a plus.
• We require excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• We require fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• SAP certification in FICO or related areas is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• We analyze and challenge business requirements to design robust, scalable, and compliant SAP processes aligned with best practices.
• We act as a key point of contact for finance stakeholders, providing guidance on SAP capabilities and process improvements.
• We gather business requirements from accounting teams.
• We configure and maintain the FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules in SAP.
• We support SAP implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects, including projects related to SAP S/4HANA.
• We contribute to the integration and optimization of financial and controlling processes through collaboration with MM, PP, and SD modules.
• We bring functional expertise across FI submodules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, BL, SL, as well as CO areas such as CO-CCA, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA, and EC-PCA, and TRM within SAP ERP.
• We provide functional support and troubleshoot issues related to SAP FICO.
• We train and support SAP users and key users.
• We work closely with SAP experts from other modules, such as MM, SD, and PP, to ensure end-to-end process integration.
• We ensure adoption of new functionalities and best practices.
• We produce and maintain high-quality functional documentation, including process flows and user guides.
