Backend Engineer PostgreSQL / AI

Salary: CHF 120'000 - 140'000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong SQL skills, ideally including PL/pgSQL
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, AI agents or AI-assisted development workflows

Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously improve backend services and data-driven applications
• Design, model and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Develop complex SQL / PLpgSQL functions, transactions and data migrations
• Build and further develop integrations and APIs
• Develop modern backend solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Work with Next.js in a backend / server-side context
• Build scalable, serverless solutions
• Contribute to AI-powered workflows and AI agents
