Product Engineer (AI Start-up)

Salary: CHF 100'000 - 140'000 per year

Requirements:

• Several years of experience building and shipping products as a software engineer, with strong TypeScript and/or Python
• Founder mentality: you've built something from zero, at a start-up, a scale-up or on your own
• End-to-end ownership: you talk to customers, validate ideas, and design, build and ship the product
• AI-native: you use AI tools every day and can show how they make your work faster and better
• Based in, or ready to relocate to, Prague, Berlin, Lisbon, Porto or Valencia, with the right to work in the EU (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities:

• You'll join a fast-growing, well-funded AI start-up backed by one of Europe's top venture capital firms. They build AI agents that run and improve back-office operations for large enterprises, with customers among Europe's biggest retailers. The product works on real business processes, such as checking invoices or handling exceptions, where every improvement has a real financial impact.
• What you'll do
• This is not a 'take a ticket, write the code' role. You'll own a problem from start to finish:
• Talk directly to customers to understand how their operations really work and what they need
• Validate ideas quickly before committing to building them
• Design, build and ship features end to end, across TypeScript and Python services
• Use AI tools and agents as a natural part of how you work, to move faster and raise the quality of your work
• Own the outcome, not just the code, and keep improving what you've shipped based on customer feedback
• The team
• The engineering team has around 20 people and is growing. About half are based at the home base in Prague, and the rest work remotely across Europe, including Berlin and Lisbon. The team meets regularly for offsites, hackathons and builder days. It's a culture of high ownership, direct feedback and working in public, where people are trusted with real responsibility from day one.
