(Sr) Data Engineer | WealthTech | Relocation to Brazil

Salary: CHF 100'000 - 120'000 per year

Requirements:

• • 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade data platforms, pipelines, and data-intensive applications
• • Strong Python and SQL skills, with hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud environments
• • Experience with modern data stack technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Iceberg, Kafka, Kinesis, or similar distributed data processing frameworks
• • Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, observability, and performance optimization for batch and streaming workloads
• • Experience in FinTech, WealthTech, Banking, Capital Markets, or other highly regulated data environments is highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• • Join a small, highly experienced engineering team building the data foundation for a next-generation wealth management platform
• • Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines that transform fragmented financial information into trusted, high-quality datasets powering products and operations
• • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and investment teams to define data models, business logic, and domain abstractions across a complex financial ecosystem
• • Build and optimize batch and streaming data platforms using modern cloud-native technologies while ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• • Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for data processing, enrichment, document extraction, and operational automation
