Software Engineer for Next Generation IoT Fire System

Salary: CHF 90'000 - 120'000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or electrical engineering with an emphasis on software development
• Several years of professional experience (3-5 years) in software development
• In-depth knowledge of hardware-related software development for embedded systems
• Good command of (Embedded) Java, or C++, UML, git, Continuous Integration, C#, Dockerized systems, and Linux
• A passion for embedded software, with experience in developing and implementing test and security concepts
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work independently, and proactive
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English; German is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Work in a cross-functional, agile team, defining the function and design of software components and assuming responsibility for them over time
• Ranges from software design to the delivery of market-ready solutions for our customers
• Implement security guidelines to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of protection and compliance
• Continuously apply and improve test strategies to ensure products meet strict quality requirements
• Work globally with internal and external colleagues, customers, suppliers, universities, and other development departments
• Assume responsibility for your own work and use the freedom given to achieve the best possible solutions
• Respond to changing market needs with custom-made solutions
• Take on further responsibilities in technology, security, architecture, and project management based on mutual agreement and personal interests
