Development Internship with Possibility of Permanent Contract

Salary: CHF 40'000 - 55'000 per year

Requirements:

• Student or recent graduate seeking a first experience
• Proficiency in Python language
• Knowledge of the OpenStack ecosystem
• Knowledge of Linux and open source world
• Knowledge of infrastructure and systems
• Knowledge of SCRUM project management model and Gitlab tools
• Excellent ability to learn new programming languages
• Fluent in French and good knowledge of English
• Organised and rigorous, with good stress and priority management
• Curious, with strong ability to assimilate new technologies
• Analytical and communication skills
• Ready to take on challenges and contribute to an ambitious project

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of a backup software within an OpenStack infrastructure
• Support our various internal development projects
• Analyse and understand the project codebase, especially OpenStack and the Freezer module
• Understand and integrate the OpenStack project contribution chain
• Carry out technical audits and status reviews of the Freezer project
• Perform corrective maintenance and continue developing skills
• Develop new features
• Write and update documentation related to developments
