Freelance Software Developer 80–100%

Salary: CHF 90'000 - 120'000 per year

Requirements:

• We look for hands-on experience with Python and modern software-engineering practices.
• We value knowledge of LLMs and AI agent development.
• We require experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy and automated testing.
• We require fluency in English.
• We value familiarity with Azure, Terraform, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• We look for the ability to develop web frontends using common web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular or HTMX.
• We value experience and passion for UX and UI design.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, typed and tested Python code, following shared standards and participating in code reviews.
• Build LLM- and agent-based features with Azure OpenAI and AutoGen, including document processing and RAG.
• Implement tests and monitoring setups for AI quality using pytest and DeepEval.
• Develop backends and APIs with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, using working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Deploy applications to Azure using Terraform, Docker and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Use and contribute to our internal libraries and shared platform.
• Work with growing independence on tasks in a regulated financial-services setting, taking work from prototype to production.
